The Kosovo Police is investigating a case of "attempted murder" in Peja, after a person reported that his son was attacked with firearms by unknown persons.
The case happened on Wednesday, and it is not known if the victim received medical treatment because, according to the complainant, out of fear, he booked a plane ticket and left.
2 cartridges and 2 cartridges were found and confiscated at the scene.
Police authorities said the victim was not available to be interviewed.
"The Kosovar complainant has reported that, on the mentioned date and time, unknown persons for still unknown motives fired at the victim-his son. The victim, according to the complainant, suffered injuries, but it is not known if he accepted medical treatment, as according to the complainant, he booked the plane ticket out of fear and left. Units at the scene found and confiscated 2 cartridges and 2 cal-7.62 mm cartridges. The victim was not immediately available for police to be interviewed. Regarding the case, the prosecutor was also informed and consulted, while the case is being investigated", the full announcement states.
