Kosovo Police have seized a car with foreign license plates in Gjakova, after it was on an international wanted list by Interpol in Germany.
According to the police report, the case was identified on June 13, 2026, at around 17:25 p.m., when the relevant police unit identified the requested vehicle during operational operations in the field.
After verification, it was determined that the vehicle appears on the list of vehicles wanted by German authorities through Interpol.
With the authorization of the competent prosecutor, the vehicle was temporarily seized for further investigative and verification procedures.
The case has been initiated by the Kosovo Police as "Vehicle wanted by Interpol" and "Fraud", while investigations regarding the origin and circumstances of the vehicle's use are ongoing.
