Kosovo police announced on Sunday about five cases of domestic violence, reported in different cities.
In Pristina, a woman reported that she was abused by her ex-husband.
"The Kosovar female complainant has reported that there was violence from her ex-husband, the Kosovar male suspect. Regarding the case, the prosecutor has been notified, while the case goes to regular procedure", the announcement states.
In Istog, it is reported that a woman was offended by her husband who was under the influence of alcohol.
"The Kosovar male suspect was arrested after he insulted his wife under the influence of alcohol. By the decision of the prosecutor, the suspect is sent to custody", the police informs.

Another case of domestic violence was reported in Deçan, where according to the police, a woman attacked her parents.
"The Kosovar female suspect was arrested after she attacked her parents. No injuries were reported, while by the decision of the prosecutor, the case goes to regular procedure", says the 24-hour police report.
In Rahovec, a man abused his wife.
"During the interview, the suspect admitted to possessing a weapon and handed it over. The pistol with a magazine without cartridges was confiscated, while by the prosecutor's decision the suspect was taken into custody", the announcement states.

Meanwhile, in North Mitrovica, a man was arrested, under the suspicion of having attacked his wife.
"The victim has received medical treatment, while the suspect is sent to custody by the decision of the prosecutor," the police report states.
