The police was notified of a suspicious suitcase on "Sali Çeku" street in Ferizaj. Since it was announced in the morning around 10:00, teams are still at the scene after three hours.
The police said that the demining teams will also be in the place.
"On 26.12.2024 at around 10:12, we received information that there is a suspicious suitcase on the street 'Sali Çeku' near a residential building in Ferizaj. Immediately, police teams arrived at the scene, which initially secured the scene. At the same time, the relevant police demining teams have been notified, and they are expected to arrive at the scene soon", KP spokesman for the Ferizaj region, Kanun Veseli, told KOH.
The police have not shared any other information so far.
A citizen forgot the "suspicious suitcase" in Ferizaj

The Kosovo police have said that a citizen was notified that she forgot what was considered a "suspicious suitcase" on "Sali Çeku" street in Ferizaj on Thursday.
Initially, the Police reported about "suspicious suitcases" and the demining team came to the scene. But nothing suspicious was found.
"After the citizen was notified, the suitcase was checked, but nothing suspicious was found. The citizen has been invited for an interview", said the Police.
