One person died in an accident that happened in the village of Volljakë in Klina on Sunday. 

The spokesperson of the Police for the Region of Peja, Fadil Gashi, has told KOHEN that the police was informed about the accident by the Police Department in Volljakë, Klina, where an injured person had appeared to seek treatment. 

Afterwards, a person was found dead in the car at the scene of the accident. 

"An injured person was presented to the QMF in Volljakë, Klina around 10:00 today. The doctor in charge informed the police that the injured person reported that he was involved in an accident. The police and the attending physician came to the scene. The doctor in charge has confirmed the death of a person found in the car. "The injured person, after being treated at the Peja Emergency, has been released to go home," said Gashi.

The Kosovo Police announced that while the car was moving on the Klinë-Gjakovë road, because it did not adjust its speed and due to the road conditions, it lost control and fell into the abyss.

Police investigators are dealing with the case, while the dead body of the victim has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) for autopsy.
