The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica has launched investigations into narcotics within the Municipality of Leposaviq.
As it is known in a press release, the Prosecutor's Office has said that it has undertaken all investigative actions for the case that also involves senior officials of the municipality.
The "Nacionale" portal published a video on Monday in which officials of this municipality, including the vice president Dragana Miletiq, are seen consuming drugs. Miletiq himself has accused the Serbian List of "inventions".
"The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica announces the opinion that in relation to the publication of the video recording of the National portal, published on January 29, 2024, in order to illuminate all the facts and circumstances, it has authorized the Kosovo Police - Directorate for the Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking (DHTN) ) in Pristina, to undertake all investigative actions related to the investigation of this case, which is related to the persons involved who are seen in the published videos, including the identification of all persons, then the collection of evidence - video recordings of the National portal , and other relevant evidence that is necessary for the investigation and clarification of this case, in terms of the criminal offense "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances" from article 267 in relation to article 275 paragraph 1 point 1.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo", it is stated in the notification of the Prosecutor's Office.
