An indictment is filed against two Serbs for hooliganism in the north

The Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo has filed an indictment against two persons of Serbian nationality, under the suspicion of hooliganism in the protests of the end of May in the north of Kosovo.

The defendants are SJ and IS. They are accused of "participating in the crowd that commits the criminal offense of hooliganism".

According to the Prosecution, the defendants had attempted to participate in the gathered crowds and undertake violent acts of hooliganism. They had entered Kosovo from Jarinja on May 30. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the defendants had undertaken all preparatory actions to cause general danger, damage to objects and cause physical injuries to officials. The prosecution has said that they had been in contact with the crowd in Leposaviq, which had used violence and injured KFOR soldiers and damaged official vehicles and the media.

"Well, the same people were stopped by members of the police of the Republic of Kosovo and thus their participation in the above-mentioned crowd was impossible", the announcement states.

Meanwhile, IS is accused of having found sprays in a car that he was not authorized to carry.
