Two people suffered serious injuries in a traffic accident in Pristina on Monday. The accident involved a car and a motorcycle, injuring the motorcycle driver and passenger.
They were taken for medical treatment to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK). By decision of the prosecutor, the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody.
The case was initiated as a "road traffic accident with serious injuries".
"A traffic accident occurred between a car and a motorcycle with a male Kosovar driver. As a result of the accident, the two male Kosovar victims, the motorcycle driver and the passenger, suffered serious bodily injuries and were sent to the UCCK for medical treatment. By decision of the prosecutor, the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody, the case is being investigated," the police statement said.
