The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Prizren requested on Friday from the Basic Court, the appointment of the measure of detention against the defendant teacher FK, who is in detention for 48 hours, under the suspicion of "Offering pornographic material to persons under the age of 16".
According to the request of the prosecution, the defendant FK is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Offering pornographic material to persons under the age of sixteen".
The police arrested the teacher on Thursday, while on Friday they announced that the suspect's apartment was also searched, where some evidence that could be related to the case was confiscated.
"On 28.04.2022, the Kosovar male suspect was arrested, on suspicion of having committed the aforementioned crime. By order of the court, his apartment was searched where some evidence that could be related to the case was confiscated. By the decision of the prosecutor, the suspect was taken into custody", the Police announced on Friday.
The teacher, now retired, was arrested after a video was released in which he allegedly sexually harassed a minor from Albania.
The video was published by "ABC News Albania" on Tuesday. It shows how the teacher sexually harasses a girl on the phone (camouflage of the show) who tells him that she is a minor.
