Four injured, 13 arrested from a fight in Pristina

At least four people were injured on Wednesday morning as a result of gunshots on "Lidhja e Peja" street, in Pristina. 13 others were taken into custody as being involved in the beating.

The news was announced by the spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Prishtina region, Flora Ahmeti.

She has said that one of the injured is suspected to have received injuries from a firearm, while three others suffered injuries during the fight where strong tools are suspected to have been used.

According to Ahmeti, 13 people have been identified and arrested in connection with this case, which is being described as 'attempted murder'.

"Today around 01:20, the police received information about gunshots on the street "Lidhja e Peja" in Pristina. Immediately after receiving the information, the police went to the scene  and has undertaken all the necessary actions consisting in the investigation of the circumstances that characterize the event. Based on the information so far, it is reported that four people were injured, one of them  is suspected to have received injuries from the firearm, while three others suffered injuries during the fight where strong tools are suspected to have been used. Police investigators in coordination with the prosecution, undertake  investigative actions for the complete illumination of the case. So far by the police  13 people were identified, arrested and sent to the left who are suspected of being involved in this case, which has been described as attempted murder", said Ahmeti. / Oath of Justice
