One of the main suspects in the murder of the policeman in Kaçanik has been convicted of the criminal offense of "rape".
The Basic Court in Ferizaj announced to KOHA that the suspect RB, who was a minor at the time he is suspected of committing the murder of police officer Muhamed Lika on April 1 in Kaçanik, is in the process of executing an institutional measure for two years, for the criminal offense of "rape".
An arrest warrant had been issued against him.
"Referring to your question, we inform you that the juvenile suspect in the case in question of the criminal offense 'Aggravated Murder' for which the court has issued a press release and has informed you that the judge in the case has ordered a detention order for a period of one (1) month, is in the process of executing an institutional measure for a period of two (2) years for the criminal offense 'rape' under Article 227, paragraph 6, in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Kosovo, for which an arrest warrant has been issued," the Basic Court's announcement states.
The Basic Court on Monday sentenced the minor to one month in custody for the murder of police officer Lika.
The preliminary procedure judge accepted the state prosecutor's request to order a one-month pre-trial detention measure.
The minor is suspected of having, in complicity with adults HB, RM, V.Ç., EL, Sh.K. and DG, intentionally and with prior preparation, deprived the life of police sergeant Lika.
