The court hearing against the accused Endrit Nika, who is facing justice for the murder of his Argentine girlfriend in Fushë-Kosovo, has been postponed.
The postponement of the hearing was made at the request of the defendant's defense, which proposed that the ambulance doctor, Blerina Gashi, be heard as a witness.
The trial panel approved this request, and the next hearing is expected to be scheduled in the coming days.

The accused of murdering his Argentine girlfriend in Fushë-Kosovo, Endrit Nika, was sent to the Basic Court on Monday, where he is facing justice for the aggravated murder in August 2023.

According to the indictment filed on February 11, 2025 by the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina, Nika is accused of having, on August 1, 2023, after a dispute with the victim MK-U., initially hit her repeatedly and attempted to run her over with a car in the parking lot of a hotel in Fushë-Kosovo.
After that, the two entered the hotel room where they were staying, where the accused allegedly continued physical violence against the victim with the intention of taking her life.
The indictment states that Nika pushed and hit the victim to a corner of the room, preventing her from leaving, and then removed the window frame, throwing her out of the sixth-floor window of the hotel.
"In which case, the deceased has now passed away at UCCK as a result of her injuries, despite medical treatment," the indictment further states.
With these actions, the Prosecution charges Nika with the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder".

At the initial hearing held on May 28 of this year, the accused pleaded not guilty.
The victim's family members are also participating in the court session via video link. Meanwhile, the accused has requested that a German interpreter be assigned to him during the court proceedings, stating that he was born and raised in Switzerland.
