A person was found without signs of life in the "Arbana" neighborhood in Prizren on Thursday morning.
The Police Spokesperson for the Prizren region, Shaqir Bytyqi, informed KOHA that the 53-year-old's dead body was found by neighbors.
After completing the examinations at the scene, the body was sent to the IML for an autopsy, while the case was initiated as a "death investigation".
"On 02.04.2026, at around 07:25, the Police received information that on '0Enver Buqa' street, in the 'Arbana' neighborhood in Prizren, a person was found without signs of life by a neighbor. It is a 53-year-old male (ES) who lived alone with his mother. Emergency teams arrived at the scene, which determined his death at home. The police patrol secured the scene, while investigators from the Regional Investigations Sector also arrived. After completing the examination of the scene, by order of the prosecutor in charge, the dead body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) in Pristina for examination. A 'Death Investigation' case has been initiated regarding the case," Bytyqi announced.
