A citizen, whom the authorities say is Albanian, was executed this evening on "Kritis" street near Omonia square in the Greek capital, Athens.
According to eyewitnesses, the victim was in a vehicle, while he was shot by two people who were on motorcycles and wearing helmets, reports tch.
The victim was shot with automatic volleys, taking bullets in the head and chest and did not manage to survive the wounds, dying instantly.
The police arrived at the scene within a few minutes and previously reported that it is a question of settlement between prostitution and drug gangs operating in the area.
"Kritis" street is known as one of the most notorious areas of the Greek capital, while the Athens police have not yet provided details on the identity and age of the victim of tonight.
