The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina has announced that the two officials of the Basic Court in Pristina who were arrested on Monday for abuse of office, allegedly obstructed the execution of criminal and misdemeanor sanctions, as stated "in order to benefit the convicted" .
"Referring to your questions, we inform you that according to the initial suspicions, the persons detained by order of the prosecutor, in the capacity of official persons, in different periods of time in the Office of the Execution of Criminal Sanctions in the Basic Court of Pristina, in cooperation using the duty or authority official, have not fulfilled their official duties in order to benefit the convicts, as well as causing damage to the judicial system, so that the defendants have deliberately not submitted (concealed) the Order of the Basic Court of Pristina for dispatch henceforth, making it impossible to execute criminal and misdemeanor sanctions", says a response from the Prosecutor's Office to KOHEN.
The prosecution has announced that it is in the process of compiling the request for determining the measure of securing the presence of the defendants in criminal proceedings.
