A large fire engulfed four cars parked near a business in the "Marigona" neighborhood in Pristina on Friday morning.
Two of them were completely burned, while two others, which were parked near them, were partially damaged as a result of the fire, which was extinguished after the intervention of firefighting teams.
After the investigator completed his work at the scene, cleaning workers went out to remove the debris caused by the fire.
Nothing could be identified from the cars, while there was also damage to the building near which the vehicles were parked. While the cleaning workers have removed the last remains of the destroyed cars, the investigative institutions have not yet provided any information on whether there are doubts that the fire is accidental or that there is some other motive behind it.
The Kosovo Police have officially confirmed only that the investigations related to the fire have started.
"The police immediately went to the scene and invited the firemen in order to localize the fire. The first information from the scene shows that two cars were completely engulfed in fire, while two others were partially engulfed in flames, while no injuries were reported. Currently, the police, in coordination with the state prosecutor, have started undertaking investigative actions for the complete clarification of the circumstances that characterize the event".
