The attending physician confirms the death of a person from gunshot wounds
(Updated 00:05) - Agron Çitaku, the attending physician, announced that the person who died had arrived at the UCCK with almost no signs of life. He is around 60 years old. While the other injured person, according to Çitaku, is in stable condition.
"Around 22:35 the first injured person arrived, he was almost lifeless. He was resuscitated, within half an hour he passed away. After 15 minutes the other injured person arrived who had three wounds but was in stable condition. The person who died is around 60 years old," said Çitaku.
(Updated 23:42) - One of the two injured people in Pristina this evening has died at the University Clinical Center, KOHA has learned from sources.
Meanwhile, the other injured person continues to be treated.
The suspect is still on the run.
Two injured in Prishtina
- 23:16 - Two people were injured in a shooting in Pristina on Tuesday evening. The suspect has been identified and is being sought.
According to the Kosovo Police, the incident occurred at around 22:30 PM on “Rrustem Hyseni” Street. The injured have been sent for medical treatment, while police investigators are working to solve the case.
"Police investigators are taking all necessary measures and are searching for the suspect, who has already been identified," the police statement said.
