Kosovo Police announced that a person has been arrested in Gjilan after being suspected of being involved in two cases of serious theft.
According to the announcement, the thefts were committed during February of this year, while after the arrest, evidence was seized that will be used in Court.
The suspect has the initials DM, born in 1992.
"His arrest was made on suspicion of his involvement in at least two cases of serious theft, cases that occurred during February 2025. After the arrest, evidence was seized from the suspects that will be used in Court," the police statement said.
The suspect has been detained at the detention center for 48 hours.
"The suspect was interviewed in the presence of defense lawyers and, by decision of the State Prosecutor, was detained in the detention center for 48 hours. The case is being processed with a criminal report at the Basic Prosecution Office," the announcement states.
