A person has been arrested in Gjakova, on suspicion of involvement in several cases of criminal offenses against property.
According to the police report, the suspect with the initials BK has been involved in five cases of aggravated robbery and two other cases of theft.
The cases are said to mainly involve break-ins and forced entry into business premises in various locations in Gjakova, where the object of theft was mainly cash.
"After the arrest, the suspect was interviewed in the presence of the defense attorney and, faced with the evidence provided, he admitted responsibility for some of the criminal offenses," the police statement said.
By decision of the state prosecutor, the suspect was remanded in custody for 48 hours.
