The Kosovo Police have announced that they have arrested a 34-year-old man who is suspected of the criminal offense of "theft in complicity".
He was arrested for a case of theft of a car with foreign license plates that happened on September 2 in Pristina.
"The investigation was initiated on 02.11.2024, after the complainant presented the car with a foreign license plate as stolen. The undertaking of investigative actions and other operational actions carried out by the theft investigation specialist resulted in the identification and arrest of the suspect; SK, 34 years old, male, citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, as a suspect implicated in this case", the Police announcement states.
The stolen car, after being found, is said to have been returned to the owner, while the suspect, after the arrest, was sent to detention for 48 hours, to proceed further in the further stages of the investigative process.
