Three suspects arrested for usury in Prizren, one suspected of injuring police officer during escape
At least three people have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the criminal offense of "usury", during an operation conducted on Tuesday in the municipality of Prizren.
According to the Police, the arrested are BS, FS and AD.
In addition to suspicion of usury, BS is also suspected of the criminal offenses of "causing general danger" and "traffic accident with injuries."
Police have announced that while attempting to evade arrest, suspect BS hit a police officer and a citizen with his car, injuring them.
According to the investigation, they are suspected of continuously exerting pressure on the victim with the aim of profiting from the usury activity.
The victim, according to the Police, was forced to act to the detriment of his property, while the suspected illegal actions caused him considerable material damage.

"During the police operation, the residences of the suspects were searched in 3 different locations in the municipality of Prizren, during which various material evidence was seized, which will be used in the criminal procedure," the police statement said.
After the interview, the three suspects were sentenced to 48 hours of detention by a decision of the prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren.
