Indictment for threatening a man in Štrpce

The Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj has filed an indictment with a request for the imposition of a detention measure against the defendant RF, from the municipality of Shtërpcë, due to the well-founded suspicion of the criminal offense of "Threat" under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the Prosecution's indictment, there is a well-founded suspicion that on October 15, 2025, at around 17:20 p.m., in the village of Biti e Epërme, municipality of Shtërpcë, the defendant intentionally, with the aim of intimidating and causing anxiety, seriously threatened with words that he would deprive the injured party IS of his life," the announcement states. 

According to the indictment, after a dispute about the road near the victim's house and while he was driving his vehicle, the suspect entered the victim's property and, shouting and threatening him with the words "You were begging me to kill you, or do you want to kill me?" 

"As a result of these words and actions, the injured party was caused fear and insecurity, with which he committed the criminal offense of 'Threat', under Article 181, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code," the notice states.

The prosecutor in the case, upon filing the indictment, proposed to the Court that after holding the judicial hearing, administering the evidence and evaluating it, the defendant be found guilty of the criminal offense for which he is accused and be punished according to the law.
