The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren, Department for Serious Crimes, has filed an indictment against the person IM, who has committed the criminal offense of "attempted murder" under Article 178 in connection with Article 28 of the Criminal Code, and the criminal offense of "unauthorized ownership, control, possession of weapons" under Article 374 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, the prosecutor's statement announced, reported Koha.net.
According to the indictment, on 08.11.2017 in the Arbana neighborhood on the "Beteja e Pashtrikut" street, IM, after a preliminary dispute regarding an unresolved property issue, intentionally attempted to deprive the injured party AA of his life, by shooting the injured party in the stomach with a firearm-pistol from a distance of 1-1.5 meters, causing serious bodily injuries.
With these actions, IM committed the criminal offense of "attempted murder" under Article 178 in conjunction with Article 28 of the Criminal Code, and the criminal offense of "unauthorized ownership, control, possession of weapons" under Article 374 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
