Indictment against five people for arson at a discotheque in Pristina

The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina has filed an indictment against two individuals, Sh.T. and FS, for setting fire to a discotheque in Pristina in February last year. The latter is also charged with the criminal offense of “obstructing evidence or official procedure”. 

The indictment also charges BH, IM and Rr.A. with incitement to arson.

According to the indictment, on February 14, 2025, at around 04:53, on ''Epiri'' street, in the Prishtina-Fushë Kosovë industrial zone, in the discotheque building of the defendant SH.T., FS, in complicity and intentionally after being pushed by the defendant RR.A., and in exchange for a reward of 3.000 euros, set fire to the discotheque building. As a result of the fire, material damage was caused to the building in the amount of 969.435 euros.

Meanwhile, in the period from September 2025 to November 16, 2025, in Pristina and Fushë-Kosovo, the defendants BH and IM, acting together and in agreement with other persons, intentionally incited another person, still unidentified, to commit the criminal offense against the property of the injured party SS.

Still, according to the indictment, the purpose of this action was revenge, as the defendants considered that FS and SH.T. were arrested as a result of the actions of the injured party SS.

The indictment states that the accused persons carried out the warned action by setting fire to the vehicle of the injured party SS, causing material damage in the amount of 54.892.72 euros.

The prosecutor in the case has proposed to the Basic Court in Pristina that, after holding the trial and administering the evidence, the defendants SH.T., FS, BH, IM and RR.A., be found guilty of the criminal offenses charged against them and sentenced according to the relevant legislation in force.
