The injured NB and the suspect NH are suspected of "Attempted aggravated murder" and "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons" and the defendant AB of the criminal offense "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons" .
"It is suspected that today, on August 08, 2024, at around 10:07 a.m., in Fshatin e Ri, in the municipality of Viti, the defendants NB and AB, were injured during the gunshots, who due to the injuries received first sought medical help at the Family Medicine Center in the village of Pozheran, municipality of Vitia, then they were transferred to the Regional Hospital in Gjilan, who for the moment, they are out of danger for their lives", it is stated in the notification of the Prosecutor's Office.
The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Gjilan against the defendants within the legal term "will request the measure to ensure their presence in the criminal procedure".
Two injured in Viti, a suspect is arrested
- 12:11 - Two people were injured on Thursday morning in the New Village of Vitia. The police have confirmed that they have arrested a suspect.
According to the Police, the injured are out of danger and are being treated at the Regional Hospital of Gjilan.
Two firearms were confiscated at the scene.
"Police investigators from the investigation unit in coordination with the State Prosecutor are currently working to illuminate and clarify all the circumstances of the case," the Police announcement states.
