The Kosovo Police is investigating the death of a man in the village of Shillovë in Gjilan.
According to the 24-hour report of the Kosovo Police, he was found after witnesses reported that they had not seen him leave the house for three days.
"The police was informed by the witnesses that a Kosovar man has not been seen to have left the house for three days. By decision of the prosecutor, the door of the house where the victim was found without signs of life was forced open. The death of the victim was confirmed by the medical team at the scene. "In addition to the police units, the prosecutor and the team of firefighters also came to the scene of the incident and assisted in pulling the body after it had decomposed," the announcement states.
By decision of the prosecutor, the body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy.
The case is said to be under investigation.
