Kosovo police have announced that they have arrested the suspect for the motorcycle accident that happened on Saturday in the village of Shtupeq in Peja, where one person died.
In the Police announcement, it is stated that the suspect was driving the motorcycle at the time of the accident, while initially he stated that the driver was the victim.
"Initially, according to the statement of the injured person, the driver was the victim of the accident, after the investigation by the investigators in Peja, on 04.08.2024, during the interview, it was established that the driver was the injured person, who is now suspected of this accident," the announcement states.
After the interview by the investigators, the suspect was sent to detention for 48 hours by order of the state prosecutor.
According to the Police, a motorcycle (4 wheels), in which there were two (2) people, was involved in this accident.
