Barcelona striker and winner of the 2024 European Championship with Spain, Lamine Yamal, won the "Golden Boy" award for 2024 on Wednesday.
This award is given annually by the Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport to the best players in Europe under the age of 21.
Yamali excelled this year for his club and country.
The extraordinary teenager celebrated his 17th birthday in the middle of the tour in Germany, in "Euro 2024".
Yamali beat competition from Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoon and Alejandro Garnachon, Juventus duo Kenan Yildiz and Samuel Mbangula, and Real Madrid duo Endrick and Arda Guler.
Yamali becomes the third winner in the last four years coming from the Barcelona team.
