Turkey's Mert Muldur's powerful long-range goal in their 3-1 win over Georgia during the Euro 2024 group stage has been voted the best by fans, UEFA wrote on Saturday.
UEFA had published the 10 best goals of the European Championship, while among them was Xherdan Shaqiri's, who with Switzerland scored a super goal against Scotland in the second match of the group stage.
However, Shaqiri's goal did not receive enough votes to enter the top three.
Lamine Yamali's goal against Spain in the semi-finals of the European Championship took second place from the fans' votes, while Arda Guler's goal in the 3:1 victory over Georgia came in third.
