This is the second time the vote has been postponed, Bosnian media reported.

"The General Assembly will certainly be after May 6, depending on the session schedule. The mission of Bosnia-Herzegovina to the UN also participated in this decision, saying that they need time or to be more ready to understand it better", he declared.

The resolution on Srebrenica was initiated to declare July 11 as the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Srebrenica Genocide in 1995.

22 countries have been in favor of sponsoring this resolution, among them Albania, USA, Great Britain, Canada, Chile, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Jordan, Lithuania and  others.
