The Radio Kosovo Trade Union Association and the RTK Independent Trade Union have expressed concern about the financial situation of the public broadcaster, following the execution of over 1 million euros by the bailiff in the case of the show "Millionaire".
According to their reaction, this development has put RTK in an alarming situation, jeopardizing the normal functioning of the institution and the salaries of hundreds of employees.

"At a time when RTK is already facing an insufficient budget to fulfill basic obligations to the program and staff, this financial blow further deepens the crisis and creates great uncertainty among employees," the reaction states.
They have called on the RTK Board to urgently take all institutional and legal actions to guarantee the financial stability of the public medium and to prevent the endangerment of employees' salaries.
"RTK employees should not pay the price of wrong managerial decisions or inherited institutional problems," it further states.
The unions have also demanded full transparency from the management and Board of RTK regarding the steps that will be taken to overcome the financial situation.
