The replacement of the teacher in the second grade has irritated the parents of 25 students of the “Zenel Hajdini” primary school in Prishtina, who have decided not to allow their children to continue the learning process. According to them, the decision to replace the teacher was made without any prior consultation with them. The Municipality of Prishtina has promised a solution to this problem
The parents of second-grade students at the "Zenel Hajdini" school in Pristina have decided that their children will not continue their education.
The reason for the interruption of classes is the replacement of the teacher who taught the children in first grade, a decision that, according to the parents, was made without consulting them.
The parents' representative, Sadik Paqarada, said that the directorate's decision is unacceptable and that the parents will not allow their children to return to school until the first teacher is reinstated.
"I am speaking on behalf of the parents, we are expressing dissatisfaction with what has been done to our children. They have changed the teacher now that they are starting second grade. We are expressing our dissatisfaction because we have not had any clear notification; we only received a notification, but without any explanation and without any compromise, the teacher was changed," said Paqarada.
Paqarada stated that the parents have attempted to communicate with the principal, but have been ignored.
According to him, there was no real communication between the parents and the principal.

The director of the Education Directorate in the Municipality of Pristina, Samir Shahini, said that there will be a special meeting with the parents of second-grade students at the "Zenel Hajdini" school.
"There have been some reactions from the parents of these classes regarding the frequent change of teachers. I wanted to listen closely to the parents, to listen to them. As we agreed, we will meet them tomorrow at the Directorate of Education, so that we can finally find a solution. As I told the parents, I am telling you: school does not exist without children, it has no meaning without children, and of course parents are the ones who want the best for their children. We are here to find the best," said Shahini.
The teaching process at this school began a week late, due to renovations that were not completed on time.
