As of 14:00 p.m. on Monday, none of the 27 registered political entities had submitted their list of candidates for MPs online to be certified for participation in the June 7 snap elections, the Central Election Commission announced.
"So far (Monday, May 11, 2026, 14:00 PM) none of the 27 political entities has submitted online the list of candidates for deputies to be certified for participation in the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which will be held on June 7, 2026," the statement said.
According to the CEC announcement, after the end of the period for notification of participation in the elections and the formation of coalitions by political parties, as well as applications for certification by new political entities, the total number of entities that can participate is 27.
Of these, 22 are political parties, 3 coalitions, one citizens' initiative, and one independent candidate.
The CEC has called on parties, coalitions and independent candidates to submit candidate lists as soon as possible to ensure certification and timely preparation of the electoral process.
