The Barcelona footballer, Lamine Yamal, has expressed his admiration for Neymar. The young star of Barcelona praised the Brazilian, stressing that the Al-Hilal player is his idol in football.
Although Yamal is compared to Messi, Neymar is more special to him.
"I was five years old when I saw him for the first time at Santos and seven years old when I met him in person at Camp Nou," recalled Lamine Yamal in an interview with CNN.
"It was incredible to see him play. Yes, it is true that Messi was there and was outstanding, but Neymar is something completely different. Neymar has always been my idol. He is a star, a football legend," said the Spaniard.
17-year-old Yamal is under contract with Barca until the middle of 2026 and in the interview he also talked about the renewal.

"I don't know when the contract will be signed, but I think it will be soon. After all, Barcelona is the club of my life. I hope to renew the contract and stay as long as possible", he said.
Yamali played 22 games this season with the Barcelona jersey, where he scored seven goals with 12 assists.
