The Swiss Federation has issued a statement about this.
"Even in the match against Australia, a number of people with Albanian roots were in the stadium and loudly supported Xhaka and the Swiss national team. Granit Xhaka and several other players signed autographs and took photos with them after the match," the Swiss federation wrote.
And Xhaka has decided to greet the Albanians again.
"In the evening he took the opportunity to greet the Albanian community again. This did not happen on the field and was not part of the sporting event."
