When Megzon Visoka was fired, Drenica had no losses in the first eight games of the season, like no other team in the Super League and the First League.
Visoka had left the team in second place in Group A of the First League with 18 points, one point less than Vëllaznimi and one more than Trepça.
Visoka was dismissed from his position as coach on October 8, with the justification that "the club's leadership, after analyzing the sports performance and the course of the championship so far, has concluded that the club is not on the desired path and has requested that we terminate the cooperation."
A day after dismissing Visoka, on October 9, Drenica appointed Bylbyl Sokol as head of the technical staff. And dismissed him from his post on December 11. With coach Sokol, Drenica ended the autumn season in first place in Group A of the First League. The announcement stated that “this decision was made after the announcement of Sokol, who has decided to engage in the political race. The decision is the result of the club's commitment to maintaining impartiality and avoiding any possible political influence on our sports activities”.
It didn't take long for the Drenica leadership to give Arsim Thaqi the trust to lead the team.

Thaqi took over as the manager of the Rossoneri on December 13th. On Tuesday, Drenica released Thaqi, "after a detailed analysis of the team's performance and the need for changes that will help achieve our objectives for the future."
Thaqi was fired one day after losing the derby against Trepça '89.
On Monday afternoon in Skenderaj, the Mitrovica team won with a score of 2:0, within the 20th round.
Drenica is the leader with 41 points. Trepça '89 with the victory came in second place with 37 points. Vëllaznimi and Liria have 36 points each, while Trepça is fifth with 34 points.
The club's president, Haxhi Rreci, emphasized that the draw against Mitrovica and the loss to 89, led to Thaqi being fired.
"The work of results has been dismissed, after the draw with Mitrovica and the loss to Trepça '89. We do not question the promotion to the Super League. We will be in the Super League, but we are also claiming to win the Kosovo Cup," Rreci told KOHO on Tuesday.
He announced that Drenica will introduce the new coach on Wednesday.
"It will be a surprise for everyone," Rreci emphasized.

Whether Drenica will end the season with its fourth coach remains to be seen.
Drenica has also changed leaders frequently in recent years.
