The selector of the Kosovo U21 representative in football, Afrim Tovërlani, has said that all players are the same for him. He said that some players will have the opportunity to show their values in the qualifying matches for "Euro 2025", against Hungary and Israel. Kosovo U21 has gathered for the first time after six months. In the Football Federation of Kosovo, they estimate that the atmosphere in the U21 team is very good. Due to injuries, Tovërlani will not have Arian Llugiq, Bleron Krasniq and captain Valon Zumberi at their disposal.
"It is an opportunity for others to show their worth in the absence of these players," said Tovërlani. Many football players from Kosovo clubs are part of the Hopes of Kosovo. But he is against dividing players based on where they come from. "Initially, there is no division of football players from the Kosovo league and from countries outside Kosovo. I will always try to be correct and call those who show the most and are in shape," said Tovërlani.
Kosovo U21 is in Group D together with Germany, Poland, Israel and Estonia.
