Before Debatik Curri took over as coach, Gjilani had three consecutive defeats in the Kosovo Super League. Curri started his adventure with a victory last week for the Gjilani team.
Curri, who replaced Ardian Nuhiu, led Gjilan to a 1:0 victory over Prishtina e Re.
In total this season, the Gjilan team has five losses, one draw and three wins.
It ranks eighth with ten points.
On Saturday, Gjilan and Curri face a tough match against runner-up Balkan.

This match starts at 13:00 and is played at the city stadium in Suhareka. It belongs to the tenth week of the Kosovo football elite.
The 41-year-old Curri appeared at a press conference on Friday and acknowledged the strength of the Balkans.
"We are maximally prepared for this match. It is one of the best opponents in the league. We have to go and approach it like in other matches, but now we are dealing with an opponent who can put us in difficulty. I believe that we will not make it easy for the opponent, with what we have prepared throughout this week," said Curri.
Curri, who has had a rich career as a footballer, believes that Balkan is the main contender for the championship title.
He added, however, that they are not afraid of any opponent.
"I expect the team to grow match after match, starting from tomorrow's match. We are facing an opponent who is probably the main contender for the title. But we have to focus on our match, we are not afraid of any opponent. We will go to respect them and give our maximum. If the opposing team is better than us, we will normally wish them victory," said Curri.

Balkan coach Orges Shehi also has the highest rating for the opponent.
Balkan ranks second with 18 points. It is four points behind leader Prishtina.
Balkan this season has five wins, three draws and one loss.
The only defeat was suffered on October 4 by Prishtina.
"We are playing against an opponent who, in my opinion, does not deserve the position it has in the table. The team is prepared and we evaluate the match for the goals we have. We will give our maximum to get the three points. It will be a very big challenge to win against the Gjilan team," 48-year-old Shehi declared for KOHĖN.
Two more matches will be played on Saturday.
