Igli Tare was appointed Milan's sporting director on May 26. After Tare's arrival, Milan has made numerous changes to the squad.
Tare has spoken about his goals with Milan.
He says that the main goal is for Milan to win the Italian championship.
The 52-year-old Tare also spoke about the golden time he spent at Lazio.
"I would be lying if I said that the objective is not to win the championship title. It is a project, as we signed 19 players and released 23. We are on the right track, I have the desire to win some important trophies with this glorious club," said Tare.

Tare was Lazio's sporting director from 2008 to 2023. He was also a Lazio player for three years in the past.
"I went to the Lazio office to sign a contract as a player and came out with a contract as a sporting director. I think president Claudio Lotito was visionary. He understood a lot about me during my three years there as a player. Even as a player I was always curious about how clubs worked and I wanted to go into detail. The most difficult speech of my life was introducing myself to my teammates as the new sporting director," said the former Albanian national football player.
