Bayern defender, 16-year-old Filip Pavić, has decided to play for Croatia at international level in the future.
This was announced by the Croatian federation on Monday.
There are no obstacles for Pavić to immediately start playing for Croatia.
Pavić was born in Germany to Croatian parents. He holds both German and Croatian passports. He has two caps for Germany's U15s and 11 for Germany's U16s. He was captain in four of those matches.
Pavić has already made his debut for Bayern's first team in the Champions League.
