A full 19 days have passed since the final matches of the seventh round of the Kosovo Super League in football.
It is the longest break that has ever occurred during the development of the championship for Kosovar clubs in the last decade.
The break came as a result of the longest ever international training camp, which included four Nations League matches.
The first matches of the eighth round are played on Friday. Two matches are also played on Saturday and one on Sunday.
The tour opens with the matches Llapi – Balkan and Drita – Malisheva. The match in Podujevo will be played at 14:00, while in Gjilan at 18:00.

The fifth round of the Super League opens today
Llapi is not in a good moment. The last match before the break is on September 20th.
The 4:0 loss to Drenica was the sixth in seven rounds for the team led by Tahir Batatina. They have only one victory.
"I believe that this break has served us well, because the players have been broken by injuries and we are complete as a team. We had five injured players at the beginning of the championship and this break has served us as a team. We are ready," Llapi coach Tahir Batatina told KOHĪN on Thursday.
Balkan, Llapi's opponent, is also winless in the last three rounds. They lost to Malisheva 2:1 and Gjilan 1:0, while drawing goalless with Dukagjin.
Unlike Llapi, Malisheva has not lacked results. But Malisheva recently faced the unexpected departure of coach Thomas Brdaric, who on Wednesday was introduced by a club competing in the second division of Saudi Arabia.
Brdaric, who is Croatian-German, left Malisheva in second position with 16 points, two less than leader Prishtina, which has one less match played.
Malisheva faces a tough trip on Friday. In Gjilan, they will face Drita, the reigning champion of Kosovo. The team against Drita will be led by Brdariq's assistant, Kastriot Rexha.
Drita won against Dukagjini in the last round.
On Saturday, the Vushtrri - Gjilan match will be played at 14:00, while Drenica hosts Feronikeli 74. The match will be played at 18:00.
The last match of the eighth round will be played at 18:00. Prishtina and Dukagjini will face each other.
