Spain's football coach, Luis de la Fuente, has confirmed the return of two players for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches in September.
"Marca" wrote on Saturday that De la Fuente wants to have Manchester City's Rodri and Real Madrid's Dani Carvajal available for the matches against Bulgaria and Turkey.
Rodri was seriously injured in his knee, but played for Manchester City after a long time. At the request of Pep Guardiola, he was not invited to the Nations League matches by Spain.
"You can see that Rodri is back and I hope that Dani Carvajal will also play in the Club World Cup. If he is ready to play, he will be with us. They are two geniuses on and off the field. It is a pride for me and the country that we can count on them," declared De la Fuente.
