The coach of Slovenia, Matjazh Kek, has said that his representative will have a big role in the qualifications for the 2026 World Cup.
Slovenia is one of Kosovo's opponents in Group B, which also includes Switzerland and Sweden.
"On the one hand, the group is difficult, but on the other hand, it mostly depends on the situation in which we will be. If we will be at the level we aim for, I am sure that Slovenia will be asked a lot in the group", said the Slovenian coach, Kek.
He added that in every qualifying cycle, Slovenia enters with the aim of qualifying.
"I hope we will achieve this in the next qualifiers. But it is clear that other representatives also have similar goals", added Kek.
