Liverpool star Mohamed Salah contributed to Egypt's national team's qualification for the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
Egypt defeated Ivory Coast 3:2 in the quarterfinals.
Salah provided an assist and scored a goal for Egypt.
Egypt took the lead in the fourth minute with a goal scored by Manchester City striker Omar Marmoush.
Rami Rabia doubled the lead in the 32nd minute. He scored with an assist from Salah.
Eight minutes later, Ivory Coast narrowed the score to 2:1 after an own goal scored by Ahmed Fatouh.

33-year-old Salah scored for 3:1 in the 52nd minute in favor of Egypt.
Guela Doue scored the second goal for Ivory Coast in the 73rd minute but in the end it was not enough to jeopardize Egypt's victory.
Egypt will play Senegal in the semi-finals next Wednesday.
