Mirlind Daku's transfer to Spartak Moscow has brought financial benefits to his former club, Osijek.
The Albanian national team striker was transferred from Rubin Kazan to Spartak on August 6 for around 11 million euros, making Osijek also benefit from this deal.
When Daku left Osijek in 2023 to move to Rubin Kazan for 1.2 million euros, the deal included a clause guaranteeing the Croatian club 10 percent of the Kosovar striker's future transfer.
Osijek has collected around 980 thousand euros from Daku's transfer to Spartak, the Croatian media outlet "Jutarnji.hr" wrote on Monday.
In total, Osijek has earned around 2.1 million euros from the 28-year-old's transfers, including 1.2 million euros from his move to Rubin Kazan in 2023.
