Roma signed winger Leon Bailey on loan on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old Jamaican, who plays on the wing, had very good performances with the English Premier League club last season.
He had two goals and four assists in 38 games in all competitions.
"Roma announces the transfer of Leon Bailey from Aston Villa. The winger joined the team on loan with an option to buy. Bailey becomes the first Jamaican player in Roma's history. He has also played for Genk, Bayer Leverkusen and Aston Villa. The 28-year-old has played in 377 matches in domestic and international competitions. He has scored 76 goals," the Roma team wrote, among other things.
Bailey is Roma's sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
