Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer set a negative record in the 5-4 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night, in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.

For the 2014 World Cup winner with Germany, it was the first time he had conceded five goals in the Champions League.

"Not only did Neuer concede five goals, he also failed to save a single PSG shot. This is unprecedented in a Champions League knockout match since they started keeping statistics in 2010," writes the major German newspaper "Bild".

"You saw the goals. It's difficult to save one of them. Twice it was very close. These are world-class players, that has to be said," Neuer said after the match.
