Madrid misses penalty at the end, draws with Al Hilal

FAl Hilal's Mohammed Al Qahtani was running to clear the ball in the 89th minute of the match against Real Madrid. But his hand extension cost him a penalty. Although he didn't see it, the Al Hilal player kicked Fran Garcia in the face. His kick was awarded as a penalty by the referee. The penalty was confirmed after a VAR review. There were protests, and yellow cards were also given.

Federico Valverde's penalty kick was saved by Al Hilal's goalkeeper and the match played on Wednesday night in Miami ended in a 1-1 draw in the Club World Cup. It was a match between two teams led by new coaches. For both Xabi Alonso and Simone Inzaghi it was their debut match for their teams, Real Madrid and Al Hilal respectively. It was Group H.

Trent Alexander-Arnold played 65 minutes on his Real Madrid debut, while Dean Huijsen completed the match.

Real Madrid plays against Pachuca in the second match, while Al Hilal plays against Salzburg.


Real Madrid surprised after the first half by the Saudi team

Al Hilal, led by Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, faced Spanish giants Real Madrid in the first half of the first match of the Club World Cup. 

The first half of this match ended in a draw, 1:1. The match is being played in Miami.

Gonzalo Garcia gave Real the lead in the 34th minute, but Al Hilal equalized from the penalty spot in the 41st minute. 

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen made their debuts for Real Madrid. It was also the debut of coach Xabi Alonso, as well as Inzaghi in charge of the Saudi team.
