Prishtina will face the well-known Moldovan team, Sheriff Tiraspol, in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.

Sheriff will be home in the first leg, while Prishtina will be away in the second. The Europa League first qualifying round matches are on July 10 and 17.

Sheriff was the second strongest possible opponent in the draw. The strongest was Shakhtar Donetsk. The blue team was in the non-seeded group in the draw.

Sherifi is the winner of the Moldovan Cup. It has 21 championship titles, the last in 2023. In the 2021/2022 edition, it reached the group stage of the Champions League, while it was in a group with Shakhtar Donetsk, Real Madrid and Inter.
