More photos of the stadiums as they will look after the work is complete were released on Friday. More investment promises were also made.

But, apart from the 13-seat “Fadil Vokrri” stadium, which is the only one currently in use for international matches, no other has been completed. Some lower-level international matches are also played at the “Zahir Pajaziti” stadium in Podujeva.

Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced on Friday that over 12 million euros will be invested in the "Përparim Thaçi" stadium in Prizren. And now the figure for investments in stadiums, according to Kurti, will exceed 200 million euros.

"The contract has been signed. Preparatory work has begun. The stands in the east and west of 'Përparim Thaçi' will be joined by those in the north and south. It will be one of the most modern sports arenas in the country, and the place where loyal fans and many sports lovers will be able to support their city club, KF Lirë, from almost 7.800 seats. We are investing over 200 million euros in football stadiums throughout the Republic. Kosovo will have the best sports infrastructure in the region," wrote the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti. He added many photos to the post.
The stadium in Prizren is one of four capital projects of the Government of Kosovo, after projects for the renovation of the stadiums in Vushtrri, Peja and Ferizaj have also been approved.

In November, the MCYS pledged that investments in sports infrastructure would be completed before the organization of the "Prishtina 2030" Mediterranean Games.

According to the MCYS, the works on these stadiums, which are expected to be "high-class, game-ready" stadiums, will be completed within two years.

Works on sports infrastructure, namely football, are also being carried out at the "Adem Jashari" stadium in Mitrovica, at the city stadium in Gjakova and in Drenas.

There are also many stadiums and other sports facilities in Kosovo that are scheduled to be renovated. Some of them have been renovated, but there have been numerous complaints about the investments that have been made. And many millions have been wasted.

The gym in Istog, for example, is currently unusable, as is the city stadium in Gjilan.
